How To Extract Audio From a Video File With AVS Audio Converter
If you want to extract audio from a video to be listed to using an audio player such as iPod, you can use AVS Audio Converter.
Step 1
Please download AVS Audio Converter, run AVSAudioConverter.exe file then follow the installation wizard instructions to install and active it.
Step2
Then you can specify the video file from which you want to extract audio track, press the Import from Video button on top of the AVS Audio Converter main window:

After you choose the video file and press Open, the imported audio track will appear in the AVS Audio Converter main window:

Step 3:
Mark the part of the audio track you want to extract (optional)
If you need the whole audio track, proceed directly to Step 4.
If you want only a five-minute audio track portion that appears at the end of the video, you’ll need to mark the necessary audio portion before proceeding to next step.
To mark the part of the audio track you wish to extract, do the following:
- *switch to the Editor Tab and double-click your file. The audio track will be visualized in the area to the right:

- click-and-drag within the waveform display to highlight the part of the audio track you wish to keep;
- Press the Trim button – all audio except the selected part will be removed from the audio track.

Step 4:
Choose a format for the resulting audio file.
Now switch back to the Convert Tab. Select the necessary format for your output file by pressing its corresponding button on the Formats toolbar:

Step 5
Select output directory
Now specify where the resulting file will be saved. To do that click the Browse button to the right of the Output Folder field:

Step 6
Begin to Convert.
Final step, you can click the Convert Now! button and wait till finish. The duration will be different each process.
